♡letting out emotions♡

Hello everyone. wow teenage years, im starting to find they are, interesting. I am guessing you, lovely reader, is also a teenager and as much as you may hate it, the truth is teenagers are emotional. you might just think you're reacting normally to things but I promise, most of the time you're not these stupid things called emotions that take over and life can get a bit crazy. I know some people let emotions swallow them and resort to things like self harm, smoking or drugs and I want to help people realize that there are so many ways to let out emotions and feelings in a way that wont hurt yourself or other people or make a scene so if you're stuck I have some ideas to help you out.

• listen to music: this is by far the easiest one, I always find there are songs that match my situation or mood perfectly so I would say, have a listen to those and get out what you need to. Afterwards though, if you're feeling a negative emotion, change the mood of the music completely and it should lift your spirits or take your mind off what's wrong. This works really well for me.

• draw: drawing is one of the few things I'm good at and I like to draw people feeling the emotions I do at the time. For example if I feel alone I might draw a girl curled up with her head down hugging her legs then colour the area around her in black; (I've done that before) or if I'm in love I might draw two people kissing (done that as well) or sad I could draw an eye with a tear coming out. (also done that) You get the point right? I find this takes some time and I'm focusing on the drawing so my mind is taken away from the situation.

• writing a song: I can't write songs to save my life but I know some people love to. Write one about what you're feeling and the stronger the emotion the better I guess, it doesn't even have to be good just so long as you feel some kind of relief. If you can't write lyrics, maybe just make up a tune on an instrument.

• sport: again something I suck at, but I know that a lot of people who are good at sport like to be alone with an element from the sport and let out emotions. Let me explain what I mean, a football player might be feeling angry so the night go outside, on their own with a football and kick it against a wall. Or a swimmer might go to a lane at a pool if they are feeling stressed and calmly swim a few lengths to let the water soothe them. Because the sport is something they enjoy, its easy for these people to let it help them think or be destracted.

•  writing: very similar to the songs one, writing let's you be free with words and let out your emotions on paper. And paper won't judge you. You could keep a diary and write down exactly what progress you're making with this feeling or situation. You could write poems, paragraphs, letters, stories or even blog posts, whatever you want you can do it.

Talking to someone about things will always be the most productive way, but if you are certain that thays not right at the minute then please try these out. After doing some of these things you might find the confidence to speak up. There are definitely much more ways to let out anything and I would love to know how you do it in the comments below so you can help other people as well. I love you guys so much. Love Juliette x

♡whats in my travel bag?♡

Hey there guys! I am going on a couple of short getaways this summer, no where special, but if you go away you always need a travel bag right? This post can apply to plane, car, train, boat journeys, you name it! I would love to know what you are all up to, let me know in the comments even if its just staying home.

•  of course I have my phone in there, what kind of a teenager do you think I am?
•  I have a thing where I have my phone charged when I don't need it but by the time I really do its on like 2% so a portable charger is always a good idea.
•  music is my life so an iPod is always the first thing in there along with my headphones.
•  I always have spare money with me just in case, especially if im going to another country and might need their currency as well.
•  I would never bring a whole makeup bag on a journey but I will take little essentials like a concealer and a spoolie or something.
•  even if you don't wear makeup I would say for sure bring some kind of lip balm, there's nothing worse than having burning lips and nothing to soothe them.
• sunnies..there is no explanation needed, we all know what sunglasses are for!
• im a bit weird with my hands feeling clammy and gross so I will always bring some hand sanitizer with me, just keep in mind if you're flying that you cant have a certain amounts of fluid.
•  water is also a good idea, gotta keep hydrated and stuff.
•  I never end up reading a lot on journeys but encase my phone runs out of charge and im SUPER bored, a book or a magazine is a good backup plan.

have a great summer everyone and thanks for reading! comments, shares and follows are much loves, love Juliette x

♡having a good old talk♡

Hi everyone! I realise that not everyone likes blog posts where things get all motivational and stuff, and at first that was why I decided I wouldn't write posts like that. and here we are. I now realise that some lessons I learn as I wander through this journey we call life, are ones that some people haven't learnt yet. So here I am to teach you things I wish I was taught. Even if you click the X in the top right hand corner and leave to go read a better blog, I am hoping that at least on person sitting on their laptop in a small rainy part of the UK or anywhere in the world, is going to find help in my posts. If these kinds of blog posts are ones you would like me to more of please let me know in the comments and say the topic or DM me @love.juliette on instagram. Because man have I messed up a lot of times and learnt something from it. Silver linings my friend.

one thing I did today, was instead of doing maths, I sat with on e of my really good friends, someone I see more like a brother and we talked. If im honest we could have done it at a better time than in the middle of education but still. The friend I spoke to, lets call him Johan encase he comes up in future reference,  is someone I really trust and get on with ridiculously well, he makes me laugh more than anyone so telling him stuff was both easy and funny. We took it in turns to confess our most shameful, embarrassing, and deep moments to each other with no fear of judgement or the secrets getting out. some of them were about or past or our regrets or even about each other, nothing was un told. And I mean nothing! As much as we had a good time doing it and making jokes about each other, it really did feel relieving to get things off our chest. I know it was for me at least and im sure it was for him to. I even feel a bit like it bought us closer together if that's even possible? No shipping please we are both taken which I think made it even better because some of it was about our relationships, so we didn't need to worry about upsetting or making the other person jealous.

Anyways, the whole point of this was to say that if you have things you need to say then say them. Anything that has been dragging you down or eating you alive, if you know what I mean. Grab someone like my friend Johan here that you can trust and just get talking. It can bee as light hearted or as deep as you need it to be. Just be sure they are someone you can 100% trust and rely on, and maybe if you don't know anyone like that then tell your parents or a sibling or even get a therapist or counsellor. Or even me! You can DM me anytime and I will reply to your problems, I may joke about a lot but believe me I can be serious if its need and you would be surprised at the help I can give if I do say so myself.

I seriously hope this has helped at least on person in some way and like I aid let me know of anything you need advice or help on, unless its maths because as we have established, I cant do that very well! If you could share and follow that would be awesome, sending you love Juliette x

♡D.I.Y hair treatment♡

Well hey, I didn't see you there! I'm sorry it had to be done at some point! anyways, I think hair is pretty awesome! and to keep hair pretty awesome is a lot of work and sometimes a struggle, but fear not! I am here to give you four recipes you can make to give your lovely locks some vava voom! I'm sorry I'm feeling so weird today!

to repair:

♡ mix together 118ml of runny honey with 1 or 2 (depending on how much it look like you need) tablespoons of olive oil.
♡ give it a good ol' rub into damp hair.
♡ allow it to sit for 10 minutes and rinse with warm water.

for soft and silky hair:

♡ give a banana a mash up in a bowl.
♡ add 3 drops of almond oil and give it a mix.
♡ go crazy and slop it all over your hair and leave to sit; wait for it, FOR A WHOLE 25 MINUITS! that's a bloody long time I know! maybe go make some tea or something I don't know!
♡ after that very long time, wash it all out and shampoo.

to moisturize:

♡ squish up half an avocado, (do what you want with the other half) in a bowl and mix in half a teaspoon of olive oil.
♡ rub the mix in your already wet hair.
♡ let it set for 10 minutes and rinse out well.

to strengthen:

♡ mix up an egg yolk with 2 teaspoons of castor oil.
♡ leave on your hair for 15 minutes then rinse out.

thank you for reading and putting up with my random outbursts1 I am I  such a weird mood! don't forget to comment any post suggestions, share this post and follow. lots of love Juliette x

♡late night sunset eye makeup♡

Hey everyone! I am back today with another makeup look for you, but this time focusing on the eyes.

Just to set the mood for you, imagine walking on the beach, hand in hand with the one you love, its late but its still warm, there is a light breeze and the sand is cool under your feet. the sun is setting, creating a beautiful display of golden orange and coral pink in the sky, your partner looks in your eyes...and says...wow your eye makeup looks great!

no i'm kidding, not really, but that's the kind of mood this makeup look reminds me of! lets just get into it before I end up writing a novel!

♡ start by priming those eyes to get them ready and feeling smooth!
♡ start by covering your whole lid in a white.
♡ take a bronze/brown colour and add it to your crease and your outer corner.
♡ with a slightly shimmery grey/black charcoal kind of colour go over your crease but stopping just a bit before the inner corner. take it up a little above the crease but not a lot to add some dimension.
♡ with a silver/grey, go over the inner part of the crease very, very lightly, so its hardly even there and blend it slightly.
♡ taking the same white from the start, put some on your brow bone, only a bit just to highlight.
♡ take the grey/black again and add some on your lower lash line.
♡ you can tight line both lids with black liner if you want to but I just went in with a thin slick of eyeliner and a tiny cat eye.
♡ add a deep black mascara to both sets of lashes and you are done!

this look sounds like a lot but if you do it well it doesn't look heavy at all. I hope you get a chance to rock this look and have a great day. please feel free to comment, share and follow that would be awesome! lots of love Juliette x

♡June favorites 2015♡

Hey friends! So as sad as it is that its the end of the month, I am happy to finally be doing a favourites! Also I have lots of exciting posts planned for next month but if you have any posts you really want to see then please let me know in the comments! but let's get into this post!

Makeup and Beauty:

• so the first thing is one if the Collection Lip Butters I reviewed two post ago and its the colour Vintage Rose. I won't go on about it but if you want to know then take a looksie in that post, and if you were wondering; yes, I can get away with it at school!

• the next thing is one of the colours in the Go To Heaven pallette by Revolution, its a plain brown colour and I use it to fill in my eyebrows because its just the perfect colour. Only thing is its really tiny so I will need to find a substation soon!

• a nail polish I have been loving is one I think I mentioned in my last haul and its the Rimmel nail polish in the colour Danny Boy Blue. It's so pretty and dark nautical blues always get me in a summer mood!

• this one you may have seen a picture of my Instagram and it's the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Moisturizer, its really great as a makeup base and it smells pretty and I really love the packaging and the lid which is probably really weird but oh well!

• a Lush product I adored was kindly bought for me buy my lovely friend Charlotte. They are  from Lush Oxford Street and are these adorable little pink stars called Double Vitality and they are solid bath oils that melt and are really soothing and smell gorgeous. Oh and they make the bath pink which is always a bonus!

Fashion items and Trends:

• this one is probably no surprise to anyone but I would hate to disappoint! Its my beautiful Red Herring sunglasses that I love so much, I have been finding an excuse to wear them whenever I can.

• next are my Bambi lounging shorts from Primark. These, I don't think count as 'fashion' but I thought I would throw them in anyways because I have been wearing them a lot when income home from school and its hot and I just wanna throw on something comfy!

• okay so I'm pretty sure most girls, (or guys) have, had or will have a pair of plain Converse and that's because they are bloody amazing, they are so comfy, they go with everything, they can be dressed up, dressed down, and over all look super Tumblr!

• a trend I have seen that is really cool is this hair rings thing, im pretty sure how it works is you just add them into a hairstyle and they are like mini accessories. I really want to find some and join the stly because I think its super awesome and vamps up a normal hairstyle.

Songs, Books and T.V:

• my first song pick is one all my socially awkward llama friends can relate to its called Here by Alessia Cara. Its such a cool sing and I think more people should know about its awesomeness! Go listen to it now!

• this song isn't new but it's one I have re-fallen in live with, its Unpredictable by my babies 5 Seconds of Summer and I adored it when it first came out then didn't listen to it for a while, then I stumbled on it a couple weeks ago and I can't stop listening to it. I also love it because it beautifully sums up a situation I am in at the moment and I just freaking love it!

• a book I have nearly finished is Carrie Hope Fletchers book, All I Know Now. I had such high hopes for this book because I love Carrie and her videos and I wanted the book to be just as good and it is! Its not like other experience and help books where it's all deep, she writes in such a witty way that I find so enjoyable, I can wait to get to the end!

• I had no hesitations to say that Pretty Little Liars is my T.V favourite! I am loving the new series and I am just obsessing over it!

• okay no one cyber punch me, but I have never seen the movie Expelled untill now but I am so happy I have because its hilarious and is now one of my favourite movies!

Other stuff:

• do you ever have that one food you could eat all day? Mines has been oranges, like the really big proper oranges with the thick skin! Ah they are just so yummy when it's hot and I'm always just in the mood.
• this isn't exactly mine it's my brothers and it's a X Mini speaker, it's portable and you just plug it in using the headphones hole in any devise and it will start to play it out loud. I can keep using his so I will try and buy my own one but in white.

• and the last thing is by far the most exciting of all these and it is GAY PRIDE!!! I am so happy to have witnessed all love become equal and be embraced. I am so happy for anyone I know who is LGBT and for any of you guys who are as well! LONG LIVE LOVE IS LOVE!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, don't forget to comment, share and follow and i will see you all next month! Love Juliette x

♡21 questions tag ♡

Hey guys! I decided I would do a questions post because especially as I'm an anonymous blogger you guys really know not a lot about me! If this is a post you like then comment and let me know some other questions or tags I could do.

1. Are you named after anyone?
As far as I know my real name isn't named after anyone but it is the same name as my dads cousin which is pretty cool I guess. But my name on here (Juliette) did have a meaning which I can go into if you want.
2. When was the last time you cried?
I cried laughing yesterday because my best friend was being a total idiot in French yesterday and one inside joke led to another and after that I was laughing hysterically, clapping like a seal, not breathing and crying. It was a great lesson!
3. Do you have kids?
Dude......I'm 14 no I don't. No judgment to you 14 year old mothers, you're doing awesome!
4. If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself?
No way I have no clue how I have friends, I must be so annoying and I make the worst jokes, but I think my friends still love me!
5. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
Ermmm yesss! I do a lot but to be fair I have cut down on sarcasm since like two months ago. I used to fit it in like every other conversation.
6. Will you ever bungee jump?
I really really hope so I love doing crazy stuff like that. All things I have never done before, if I get the opportunity I will do them!
7. What is your favourite cereal?
Well this is probably more difficult to answer than it should be because I friggin love cereal but I would have to say.... Coco pops. Yeahhh coco pops.
8. What is the first thing you notice about people?
I had to think hard about this but I think I have decided on height because I'm not that tall so I notice if someone is taller or shorter than me straight away. Sometime I will be walking down the street and if I see someone I am going to walk past, I try and estimate how tall they are from far away.
9. What is your eye colour?
Well, fun fact my eyes change colour pretty much everyday but the are always in the range of greeny blue - dark brown.
10. Scary movie or happy ending?
I do like both a lot but I do like me a god ol' happy ending, even if its not a soppy lovey dovey one.
11. Favourite smells?
Fruity, and sweet smells, the smell of something baking, paint and burning.
12. Summer or winter?
Summer because there are so many things you can do and you make more memories and summer...just...summer!
13. Computer or television?
Computer because Netflix is all I really watch and I can have that going on in one half of the screen and doing some other thing like blogging, on the other half.
14. What is the furthest you have been from home?
Florida! And I really want to go further!
15. Do you have any special talents?
Well I kinda suck at life but I am really good at reading people, like knowing the kind of person they are before I meet them but without being stereotypical. And I learn mannerisms of people I know so I can tell what is going on with them like if they are sad or in love or lying, (that one comes in handy) even if they don't make it obvious at all.
16. Where were you born?
Here in good old Britain!
17. What are your hobbies?
Eating, singing, dancing, acting, creative stuff, walking, talking, doing new things, blogging and baking.
18. Do you have any pets?
No but I really wish I did...so bad!
19. Favourite movie?
I have so many but I love The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty, its a good film if you haven't seen it please do, stop now, go watch it!
20. Do you have any siblings?
Yes two brothers.
21. What do you want to be when you grow up?
Happy!

I hope you liked this post and feel like you know me a little better than before. Please share, comment and follow that would be awesome, I love you guys so so much a and I will see you next week! Live Juliette x

♡review: collection work the colour lip butter♡

What's up sugar lumps?! Hope you are all having a good day. So today is my first review (woohoo!) but please let me know in the comments any other reviews you would like me to do and i will go and buy it, but just so you know I am having trouble replying to comments right now so don't be disheartened if I don't reply for a while. So let's get into the review!

So what are Collection Work The Colour Lip Butters? Well, they are like a mix of a lipstick, lip stain and lip balm all in one. They come in a range of four colours and are all £2.99, which is really good compared to other products. In general I have found all of the lip butters to be absolutely amazing. Overall they are really good quality and keep their colour for a long time. They are super moisturizing and I found all of them match my skin tone really nicely and I know suit others well too. Another thing I thought was cool is that their packaging is the exact same colour as the product which doesn't seem that big of a deal. But let's say you are in Boots and you wanted to buy one but the testers are missing and the other products were sealed? Well because you now know that the package is the exact colour, then you know what it is you are buying. You're welcome!

The only negative comments I could say would be that they are very soft and have a habit of breaking if you use them too excitedly (like me) so don't do that! They don't have LOADS of product but they are cheap so I think that's okay. Also, just as a side note I would recommend exfoliating your lips before because any dry skin will start to show.

1 Popping Pink
This is a very vibrant hot pink that overall has a amazing colour payoff and pigmentation. It is one of the more glossy looking colours and is pretty smudge resistant which is important for such a bright colour that can easily be seen if its out the lines. Bit embarrassing. This is one of those colours that I can see myself wearing on a beach in the sunshine.

2 Cappuccino
I have to say that sadly this is my least favourite colour. Its nude but also pinky with a definite sheen. Its lighter than my lips and I guess could be classed as a natural lip colour, although I don't love it other people might be able to pull it off better than I can so don't be disheartened. I don't know...its just weird.

3 Vintage Rose
The perfect way to describe this colour is 'your lips but better' its pretty much a typical natural lip colour but more enhanced with a brown/orange undertone. On the lips its not as glossy looking as the others which is another reason I think its the perfect everyday lip colour. This will definitely be my go to for a while, I could probably get away with it at school but who knows, I can always try.

4 Perfect Plum
Okay so I thought that the more pinky colour would be my favourite but I was so wrong. Its a beautiful purple that's somehow rich but not too dark with just the perfect amount of shine! I don't ever rock dark lips but I adore this colour so if you don't normally wear dark lips please go and give this a try, you could be surprised! I will for sure be wearing this all through autumn... when it gets here!

I hope you all enjoyed this and I will see you again soon with my next post! Please comment, share and follow that would be super cool I love you guys so so much! Love Juliette x

♡palm tree nail design♡

Hellooo!!! So summer is coming up and that means summer nails and being cool like that so I am going to show you can be of my favorite designs. For the palm trees in this I would recommend trying it on a piece of paper first so you get the sizes of the lines right.
Step 1
Paint all your nails with a base coat as normal then paint them all white like or I did or any color you like other than black. I would say nothing to dark unless you do the palm tree is n white with dark nails which would be totally cool!
Step 2
On your ring finger, paint a line with a slight curve in another color going from the cuticle to a bit below the tip of your nail. You can only really do this properly if you have a striper (not a stripper, you only make that spelling mistake once!) or you can cut the brush of the polish you are using down to size, there are tutorials for that on YouTube.
Step 3
Out of the top of this line, paint two thicker slightly curved lines one going to the left, one to the right, these will be the palm leaves.
Step 4
On top of that paint two smaller lines exactly the same.
Step 5
Finnish with a top coat and you are done!
Have a good day! Thanks for reading, it would be great if you could comment, share and follow! Lots of love, Juliette x

♡collective haul- a colab with pastelblast!♡

Hi everyone! I am super excited for this post because it is my first colab! Its with a blogger who I love called Pastelblast, she is also doing a collective haul and her info will be at the end of this post, check her out and show her some love she's amazing! so right in with this haul, I have been collecting this over under a month but its mostly things I will need for summer, I hope you enjoy! all the links for the products will be in there encase you want to check them out.
Clothes/accessories
♡ okay so the first things I got are from boohoo and the first thing is this beautiful royal blue petite Roseanna colour pop skater skirt for £8 I have wanted a skirt like this for ages and I finally got one so yay!
♡ also from boohoo I got the Kerry strap detail skater dress in a ballet pink colour for £10 down from £12, it has this cool strap detailing and is so simple but cute.
♡ I then bought this adorable crop top from Select that has a similar back detailing to the boohoo dress, and I annoyingly cant find it in the website. but it was £6 and its an ivory colour with a floaty layer thing over the top, hopefully you can tell by the picture.
♡ in Primark I got the most gorgeous blue flounce frill playsuit with intricate white patterns for £7.
♡ a while back I got this awesome coral cropped muscle top that says "mermaids have more fun" on it with this torn back to it and I don't remember how much it was and I cant find it on the site but it was probably around £5.
♡ annoyingly I also cant find these on the site but if you look at the bottom of the picture below you can see them, they are these pretty sandals with daises on and I have been looking for a pair like this for ages and they were only £6
♡ I needed some flip-flops so I got these coral Aztec patterned ones for £1.50.
♡ and then from Debenhams I got this beautiful red tropical floral bandeau swimsuit but its actually pink and its fits to well and is so flattering I just love it and the best part is right now its on sale from £19.50 to £14.88. I most defiantly recommend Debenhams for swimwear go have a look.
♡ okay, so this is the purchase I am most happy about, so sunglasses just don't suit me but in Debenhams I found these gorgeous Red Herring black and gold sunglasses and oh my goodness I am so so so in love plus they were also on sale for £12.80 down from £16!

Makeup/Beauty
♡ I first went to Boots and picked up Maybelline great lash waterproof mascara for £4.99 because summers coming and summer means water fights, and I don't wanna look like a panda when someone throws a bucket of water over me!
♡ and for the same panda reason as before I bought Rimmel waterproof exaggerate eyeliner for £5.29 on a 3-for-2 offer with the next two products I am going to mention.
♡ I kind of messed up with this one but I bought the Rimmel professional brow pencil for £2.99 and I guess its good but I bought it in 001dark brown and it is still too light for me but I still use the spoolie on the end.
♡ so this was the one I got for free on the deal, its the Rimmel Rita Ora nail polish in the colour port-a-loo-blue which would normally be £2.99.
♡ I then got two more nail polishes both Rimmel 60 seconds super shine nail polish in the colour Danny boy blue and lovey dovey which were be £2.99 each.
♡ last for makeup I went to Superdrug and picked up the Lottie London powder, powder brush they are a new brand and I wanted to try them out plush I needed a new powder brush and I absolutely love it and the colour is so cute, so worth the £7.99!

Other stuff

♡my skincare routine♡

Heya! Okay so today I wanted to share with you my skincare routine because I have notices my skin has become so much clearer and easy to work with. Before I start, as you probably know people have different skin so before you buy the exact products I use remember that and test around with products and brands that work for you and you trust. As you will be able to tell, I mostly use Simple and Neutrogena. The last thing you want is spending money on something that doesn't work.

In the morning

As soon as I roll out of bed I go and wash my face using the Neutrogena visibly clear pink grapefruit face wash, it straight away brightens up my skin and makes it look clearer, plus because I use cold water I feel so awake after which is helpful especially when I am feeling particularly sloth like.
If I know I am just going to be at home all day with no makeup on then I will apply my Simple spotless skin rapid action spot zapper on any spots and keep applying this throughout the day and this is what I think has saved my skin the most.
If I don't use the spot zapper I will take a cotton pad and splash some Simple kind to skin soothing facial toner on and wipe it all over my face.
And whether I am using makeup or not I will always rub in some Simple kind to skin protecting light moisturizer, it softens and moisturizes so well and is a great base for makeup. It also has SPF 15 which is always good. Woo no sunburn YAY!

In the evening

Usually I will shower at night to save time the next morning but if I shower in the morning I do this same thing.
Everyday I will use my Simple kind to skin refreshing facial wash gel in the shower, it kind of gives my skin a little nudge of encouragement in the right direction. Which is great!
if my skin is being particularly icky I will use my Neutrogena visibly clear 2 in 1 wash and face mask. This is so cool because you can use it as a normal face wash or do what I do and leave it on in a thick coat for 5 minuets. you can really feel it working and the results are brilliant!

At night

to give my skin a nice little helping hand in repairing as I sleep, I like to put on products before I get into bed.
WOOHOO a new brand! The Gorgeous facial moisturizer by lush is so amazing, you can see it calming redness in my skin and it feels beautiful. I almost feel like I am wearing a face mask when I use it, in a good way.
Because I am a bad child I have got scars from when I didn't know what to do with spots and kind of went a bit crazy. As easy as it is to cover with makeup I am still using Bio Oil to sort my scars out and I can see the difference dramatically. You only need a small amount to massage into the area its needed before the results start tot show.
Although I use the Simple spot zapper sometimes in the day, I will also use it at night on any spots I have because again it is brilliant.
Because my skin has cleared so much I don't really need to use this, but the Neutrogena visibly clear rapid treatment is what I use on any angry spots that need some extra attention.

I hope this was a helpful post and I cant wait to talk to you again soon. It would be great for you to comment, share and subscribe. Thank you so much, sending you love, Juliette x

♡the classic makeup look♡

Hello you gorgeous people! Okay well the other day someone asked me what I think of when someone says the word makeup, which got me thinking, what do I think of when someone says makeup? And the answer is the whole 1950's pin up girl, Marilyn Monroe kinda thing. Its the whole red lip classic (thing that you like!) look with the thick winged eyeliner that is just so classy. Comment what the word makeup reminds you of or your favourite iconic look.

1. Start off by moisturizing your face and using any primers or pore minimizers that you usually use to set the base for your makeup.

2. Ladies in the 50's seemed to always to have effortlessly flawless, matte skin so cover your face in any foundation but a matte one would be better to create a more authentic look, remembering to blend down the neck. You can skip this part or replace with BB cream if you don't like to wear foundation.

3. If your foundation didn't fully cover any dark circles or blemishes that you want to cover then apply a concealer without caking it on.

4. Use a very natural looking pinky blush, smile and apply it to your cheeks for a natural rosy look. Follow this with a matte powder to complete your face makeup.

5. Before using any eyeshadow, prime your eyelids first for a better result then using a white shimmering eyeshadow cover your eyelid.

6. Taking a black eyeliner, draw a slick across your eye, getting thicker towards the outside and finishing with a big flick.

7. With a dark lengthening mascara coat your lashes to create doll eyes or use fake lashes.

8. Dont forget to fill and shape your brows, a brow snap that I think suits this look perfectly is very full, with a detonate arch.

9. To complete the look, take a classic red lipstick and leave on its own or coat with a lip gloss.

So that's the completed look I hope you enjoyed this post. I would love it for you to comment, share and follow. Thanks for reading, love and kisses, Juliette x

♡my go-to makeup♡

Sup people! Okay, so everyone has those makeup products that they swear by to do their job perfectly. So I decided I would share with you mine. Oh and before anyone says anything yes...I own a lot of Rimmel.

Face products
• Rimmel Match Perfection, I hardly ever wear foundation but when I do, this is such a perfect match to my natural skin tone and works perfectly.
• Collection Lasting Perfection concealer, it may be cheap but as most people will say, it covers up some of the worst spots and discoloration.
• Rimmel Stay Matte powder, with the right brush this can keep your makeup looking fresh for ages.
• Benefit Hoola Bronzer, people can't get enough of this, its so well pigmented with such a beautiful sun kissed colour.
• Rimmel Lasting Finish Mono Blush, I have hit pan on this and am in desperate need of a new one, it has the most natural colour and I love it.

Eye products
• Urban Decay Naked 3, not to be really classic but it is honestly so good with great pigmentation and gorgeous colour that create so many looks.
• NYC Kohl Jet Black Eyeliner Pencil, I never really think you need to pay too much money on a pencil liner as most do the jobs well like this one does.
• BarryM Liquid Liner, I used this to learn how to do eyeliner properly and its so easy to use and for such a small amount lasts ages.
• Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner, I though I would mention one of each type of eyeliner. My mum actually got a mini one of this in a magazine and gave it to me and I have loved it ever since because its so easy to control and looks beautiful.
•Rimmel Wonder'full Mascara, okay I can't have enough of this, it has everything I want in a mascara, builds, lengthens, separates, I could go on!

Lip products
• M.A.C Myth, this is my one M.A.C lipstick and I love it because it's one I can wear everyday.
• Rimmel Lasting Finish Colour Rush Make Me Blush, I love lipstains and it reminds me of a crayon and its such a pretty pinky colour.
• Tanya Burr Chic Lip gloss, I know most people who watch YouTube's like Tanya love these and I adore this colour and its not too sticky, plus it also smells to me like strawberry laces.
• Maybelline Baby Lips Peach Kiss, so Baby Lips in general are really great and moisturizing and this colour is one I can wear like at school and stuff and not being too obvious.

Well I hope this gave you a good idea of some products I like and are worth buying especially if you are new to makeup and a bit clueless about what to get.

♡entering the world of blogging♡

hello world!

Wow, I fell like I've just done something really exciting and impressive even though I haven't, really, I've just typed a few words on to a screen. But, it is exciting for me because this is my first post on this blog, (que dramatic horn noises and party poppers) so my name is Juliette. Well, its not really but that's what I'm going to go with because, a) it's a gorgeous name and b) I would like to stay anonymous.

Please don't get freaked out and think that because I'm anonymous I'm creepy and weird like Gossip Girl, no, don't worry I'm really not! I just would like to talk about life and whatever without any strings attached, to feel free to express myself and for you guys to in the comments. I will just feel more comfortable this way. So even though I have a different name, its not because I'm hiding behind it, I'm still myself with the same thoughts, opinions and experiences. So I hope you continue to read my posts and feel free to comment, follow and share.

Thank you for reading, love, Juliette x
